Vaiyen, I believe Heavenscloud was astonished at their proficiency in the Japanese language, which isn't an easy language to master. No need to be sarcastic, lol.

I too, was amazed by their command of guitars and the Japanese language, man. My dad as well. Damn fluent.

Like what Jumbo said, I do find it fascinating that they can MASTER the language well. To Vaiyen, of course we can learn any sorts of language. I can speak Tamil too if I have the time and patience to finish learning.

Able to converse and understand Japanese is something I think is not easy.. wow!

Maybe if you understand the background better you won't be so surprised.
Friedman has a Japanese wife, plays in the band of a j-pop singer, and has lived in Japan for many years.
PG's Jap isn't as good as Marty's. he has by no means "mastered" the language. You could see in the vid that he's more comfortable giving answers in English.
