SDAM's DARK FRIDAY will be the official singapore leg of the global "Machines against Hunger" launch! Please be part of this great cause to combat poverty and hunger through partying with us on an auspicious date like friday the 13th. Please note that Taboo has sponsored us the venue from 8.30pm - 11.30pm - so do come early!
Currently the lineup is just myself and Mentor but we will be bound to rope some volunteers in.
The Machines Against Hunger project consists of 34 electronic music artists from across the globe with one vision, to support and bring attention to aid relief organizations that work to fight against famine and disease throughout the world today. This effort is dedicated to Action Against Hunger, they are a leader in this fight in places like Darfur. Feeding the hungry and providing care for those suffering from disease such as HIV-AIDS.
Comprised of some of the top names in the underground Electronic & Industrial music scene. Including side projects of Front 242, Cobalt 60, & Clock DVA. Also included, new or previously unreleased tracks from the well known masters; The Weathermen & Psyche.Also included a superb radio-ready cover of the Genesis hit, "Land of Confusion".
Representing nations such as the USA, Great Britain, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Australia, The Netherlands, Argentina, and Canada.
