3-month old Blackstar HT5-Metal in MINT condition for sale! Features as follows:
5 Watt Tube combo
Extreme gain and tone
1 x ECC83 and 1 x 12BH7 tubes
Two channels (1 clean and 1 gain)
12" Blackbird 50 custom-designed speaker
Patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF)
Digital stereo reverb
Speaker emulated output with 1x12 and 4x12 voicings
Effects loop with effects level switch
This is the perfect tube amp for metal! Able to go from transparent clean sounds to Hi-gain sounds. The amp has more than enough gain to get metal riffing and solo tones on its own without pedals. ISF feature is very good for switching between British (Marshall) sounds and American (Mesa) sounds. EQ controls and ISF only works on the gain channel, clean channel only has 1 tone and 1 volume.
The headphones out with cab-simulation is decent and allows you to play this amp silently through headphones or do direct recording (though it is really not the same as playing the amp through its own cab).
IMO, amp is loud enough to hold its own in a small jam session, and is “kind of” portable, if you drive to your jams.
No footswitch included
The amp has been collecting dust in my room and is rarely played cause I’m just not into hi-gain sounds anymore. I play my acoustic more nowadays! So, please come take it off me and use it!
