Foo fighters came to Singapore recently?

According to TODAY, they were here to promote their latest album. Where were they?

I would love to have gone to meet Dave Grohl or even see him.
Such a legend.

They did perform in Singapore, but its way back in '95 or '96 i think!
They were supporting Sonic Youth. And Stoned Revivals were the opening act.
The funny thing is, their tour included Indonesia and other Asia countries, and Beasties Boys were to be part of the tour. But they did not perform in S'pore.

I did a bootleg recording of the gig, but dunno where the cassette is?
And the tickets were sort of a laminated pass sort of thing...

They opened for Sonic Youth in Jan '96.

Stoned Revivals opened for No Doubt in '97.

Clearly remembered a local opening act for the Sonic Youth/Foo Fighters gig at the WTC, and its the Stoned Revivals. Old age is giving me hallucinations now! Or its becoz Esam with his Boss SuperOD with the Sonic Youth signature makes me believe that! Cissssss...

Dave said theyre coming next year... and it might be a confirm... coz he came here to promote the album in july. I overheard him saying that when i was there to see him. I'll be waiting... oh yeah...
