I got the biggest shock of my life when i tried to restring my floyd rose for the 1st time

You mean the pressure pads? at the nut? should be easily replaceable. Go to TYMC or Davis, or one of the shops in Penin, should sell.

Also, what floating bridge is it specifically? OFR? Ibanez Edge?

If you have no idea what bridge it is, what guitar and model is it?

replaceable or not depends on what model that bridge is or whether it is using generic parts. I can't answer your question without seeing the bridge unfortunately.
