Firebox Power Supply Help

Anyone has any idea where to get one or something similar to this?
The official power supply that comes with it is this:

16VAC 1000mA Power Supply

but on the firebox it writes there:
12 to 24 VDC
or
15 VAC
10 Watts

I have a normal universal adaptor that can go up to 12V but it only supplies 350mA and when I plugged it in, the light on the firebox is flickering and so is the light on the adaptor.

So can anyone advice me on where I can get one and what are the power supplies that I can use?

EDIT: If I have something with like 19v and 1.5A ( ~30watts) will it harm the firebox??

xfigox : I highly recommend you just buy the power supply from a presonus dealer. (make do with firewire buspower 6pin in the mean time)

try any electronics shop NOT on the 1st floor ask around so you don't get ripped off at simlim square or walk over to simlim tower. see if they can help you with it.

overpowering or underpowering will harm.

If that 19V power adaptor can tune down to 15V, you can use it.
If you buy adaptor, the ampere rating can be much bigger, but the voltage setting must not go beyond 5% of the rated voltage.

Thanks for the info, I've searched on the presonus sites for the local dealers. Unfortunately there are only distributors. Both my computers have only 4 pin FireWire ports which an overlook on my behalf.

Is there any way to gauge how much current I should not supply to the firebox, I read from an official reply that I need at least 1 amp and 12v , but will it still be okay if I supplied like 2 amps and 12v?

I used a 12V 1.3A, and it worked until today, adaptor doesn't seem to work now. Weird thing is that when I used it(when it was working), it takes about ~10 seconds before the light on the firebox stops fluctuating in intensity. Don't know if its normal or maybe still not enough power?

Anyway the firebox light still lights up using the old 350mA 12v adaptor, so I'm glad the firebox is still functioning. Gotta find a new adaptor now, lol.

This is the situation where the device is not getting enough voltage. It is complicated to explain. I think you already need to get 16Vac with at least 1 amp.

Alright I'll take note of that, I just realized that I have a 6pin firewire port at the back of my computer, stupid me. I'll settle with that for now.
