Fieldy from Korn

hmmmh, quite sad.

i think we should respect every musician regardless of the genre they are play. The technique and skills should be notable.

I heard from somewhere tt Fieldy's bass produces the lowest sound lower then any other bass? Is that true?

i tink their tuning is A on the last string isit, not sure.

i read from the ibanez website that korn designed the bridge for the k-7.

IMO, good slappers are like Les Claypool, Wooten , Marcus Miller. I respect Fieldy for his achievements, but definitely not for his slapping.

IMO too, good slapper i don't think would be wooten leh... i think he's more of a groovy guy... slap i'll say claypool, miller, perhaps flea

wooten = top notch slapper how about larry graham and bootsy?

Larry Graham invented the slap, and he's really good at it. Check out "Pow" by his band Graham Central Station.

For Bootsy Collins, I think he's a really funky guy, but in sheer technicality, I do not think that he can compare to Wooten.

Personally, ( as are most things ) I like Claypool and Wooten's slapping style.
