Fender noiseless pickups

hi guys,

Im looking at getting a set of fender pickups for my project, looking at some noiseless pickups, vintage vs hot.

not sure which one will suit, Im looking for a vintage clean bt a very smooth overdrive(not crunchy)

any suggestions?

then you're better off with the Vintage.

be sure to consider Duncan's STK-S4 Classic Stack.

the drive source defines the drive type (smooth/ grainy/ etc) more the pickups.

yes- the Duncan here has less obtrusive treble than the average Fender single coil. there's more focus in the midrange. this is why it reacts better with drive IMO & has a more balanced EQ overall.
