hi would like to buy a fender mij strat/tele.Budget below 800. Prefably maple fretboard. A warm tone would be greatly appreciated.Please give ur suggestions eg. where to get it,how much it is.

haha your warm tone is very subjective mate......better to give your specs like if your prefer alder/ash, what kinda pups, etc.

i own a cij 57' strat with an alder body and one piece maple neck. texas special pups like those found on the fender custom shop SRV signature. suffice to say the tone is warm enough for me.

heh my CIJ ST72 strat had usa vintage pickups, but i found them too thin, not warm enough. had the neck and bridge swapped out to seymour duncan quarterpounds and that kind of solved the problem..
