Hey guys,

Wad do u think of the Pro Junior($680 at sweelee) and the blues junior(around $800+)?

I need an amp for home practice and small gigging. If needed, i can mike up.

brother subversion is there a bluesman pro jr or something of tt equivalent for bass ?

i read or heard something bout a bassman amp or sumthing from fender , cant remember where but do recall vaguely something bout that..

thanks alot bro :D sorry for hijacking the thread

i find fender tube amps VERY VERY sweet... their clean is really solid. with a decent overdrive pedal you can get great solo tones as well ...

only thing they lack is rock/metal rythm sounds... which is not what they are voiced for.

Fender had a super-gain amp for high octane distortion- the Tone Master, sadly it was discontinued.

recently, there's another superseding model to appease high gain fans- the MH model:

A Fender style clean tone and Barber pedals = nice medium distortion tone

First time trying a Barber Direct Drive SS pedal the other day, was surprised to find it "feels" very natural; like another channel rather than a pedal.

the Fender Bassman was intended for bass initially but every player back then used it for guitar! the current incarnation has it strictly for bass, complete with a tweeter on board (which was absent back then) to drive the message home- the Bassman is for bass...
