Hey all, wonder if i'm the only guy with this problem, but my 60th strat's colour is not the silverish colour that is seen on pictures, it's somewhat more creamish silver... so wonder if anyone else have such issues too...
hmm, when i see it physically, it's this greenish creamish silver, but when its on pics, it actually looks more silverish... so i'm wondering if its my eyes got problem or the my guitar's colour is wrong...
yeah i have that 'problem' too but i'm not sure if its a real problem. i guess the colour has changed after awhile, mine looks slightly creamish also. but hey, gives it mojo and makes it look old!
haha, ok i guess i'm not the only one here with that issue then... I was looking at the area under the pickguard and there is this silverish area... guess the colour aged from silver to cream... but kinda miss the gleam silver finish it has compared to it's greenish cream colour now... But its quite fast right, for it to turn creamish only after a year...
But i guess you're right gives it a mojo vintage feeling to it....
yeah i kind of didn't really like the bling bling space-rocket vibe that the original silver finish had so i'm not too bothered by it actually heh. it'll happen sooner or later so yeah whatever!
under flourecent light and tungsten light it will seem yellowish however in pure white light,eg sun it'll appear in the 'real' expected colour...try putting it by your window at noon then itll be the colour depicted in the web..
