Female Teacher with 10 years of teaching experience is accepting private students at beginner and intermediate levels!
I have an Associate of Arts in Performance (Drums) accredited by Los Angeles Music Academy (LAMA), Caifornia.
I am flexible in catering to how different students learn and adjust my teaching methods accordingly.
Proper techniques and syllabus from LAMA will be incorporated into lessons.
I've taught students as young as 3 years old and adults in their 40s.
I have previously taught in various secondary and primary schools as a percussion instructor. I have 19 years of playing experiences, mainly in symphonic music. Prior to returning to Singapore, I have been gigging actively in Southern California music scene as a drummer and percussionist/lead & background vocals.
I also teach hand drums to kids and adults to encourage creativity and bring out the rhythm in them!
I have previously taught young private students to play xylophone/glockenspiel.
I also teach ABRSM theory up to grade 5 to individuals or group lessons.
Lessons will be held in a studio with 2 drumkits in town or at student's home.
Currently looking to set up my own drum studio.
