fast slow problem

i have this fast slow problem when playing drums.

Sometimes i will go fast, sometimes i will go slow. I don really notice it myself until my friends today tell me my tempo got problem


damn ah, so many problem! How to solve this problem?

Practice more on metronome...?

bring metronome to guide tempo during jamming!?

Yah, just practice everything with a metronome. That will solve the problem.

Guess one of the only soloution is to practice with a metronome. Just start very slowly like 80-100bpm while playing a very simple groove and increase speed gradually, it helps. The other way is maybe i suggest while playing, dont be too carried away by your emotion, try to maintain relax cos if y ou start to tense u will probably go faster and faster... Just relax and concentrate on the song while you jam.
