FAst Sell - Fender Stratocaster American Standard (Pristine Condition!)

HI,

Need to clear my guitars due to moving house and playing less electric nowadays.

Bought this maple neck, American standard @ New York SAM's Guitar shop in 2005. Am the first owner of this very exquisite maple neck, jimmy Hendrix beige white colour strats since then. everything in stock form, original parts.

American standard 10 years ago came with tremolo like todays American deluxe and jumbo frets. As i've not played the guitar much, its got plenty of fret life remaining. However, for same reason, had to change the electronic few years ago as its a common problem among fender strat when not being used for a period of time. guitar in excellent condition 10/10.

comes with hardcase and all original accessories (still in the case). this is a guitar worth collecting if you are someone who see value in a strat who is evolving into a great sounding tone as the wood ages.

Good luck with your sale, but I honestly don't think you are going to get $2k for a secondhand American Standard.

Plus imo the wood doesn't really "open up" if you don't play the heck out of it often for many years.

^ bewildered how is this worth this ridiculous amount. A brand new standard costs 1.7k thereabout at SL, while second hands are about 1.2k.

Nothing special about this that is should be worth more than any other second hand out there. Btw, post 2012 standard models are loaded with upgraded 2 point trems with improved stability and custom shop fat 50s pick ups.
