Need to sell urgently my 2 tone sunburst Fender Stratocaster American Standard. Bought around year 2000. Selling due to moving house and not playing much electric guitar nowadays.
Some specs that you need to know about this guitar:
- neck and middle pickups changed to Dimarzio hum cancelling virtual vintage series (if I remember correctly)
- bridge pickup changed o Seymour Duncan little screaming demon
- jumbo 22 fret
- similar to today's American Deluxe two-point synchronized tremolo bridge
- 1st tone knob not working well, the rest of electronic all working fine
- affixed additional springs at the back of tremolo system to make it a hardtail guitar for me. however, it can be easily restored back to normal tremolo by removing 2 springs.
- original hardcase (slightly worn condition inside)
- pickguard is changed to white pearl cover
guitar in relatively good condition 8.5/10 and good fret life still. Everything original except pickups and electronics which have to be replaced due to wear out over the years.
today, American standard is selling at 1.6k and deluxe model around 2.2k.
am asking for reasonable price = SGD$1000 only (slightly negotiable) no trade in or low balling please.
Although it was called American Standard when I bought it, the hardware in those days are actually closer to what the american deluxe are today.
