Multi-award winning woodwind instrumentalists Dedric Wong and Tan Qing Lun will share the must-knows of traditional Chinese woodwind instruments in this talk. Through lively demonstrations, the audience will learn the unique sounds of the dizi, xiao, sheng and suona. Audience will also have the chance to try out simple techniques on the ladi and take it home as a souvenir!
No prior knowledge required. This talk is conducted in English and is
recommended for music lovers, those interested in Chinese culture and
the curious.
