Evh replica project

hey fellow softies i've just recently completed my first ever project guitar and would like to hear your opinions on it.. =)
It's my take on the EVH replica, i did'nt bother going through with all the relic-ing though...
well the axe itself is a 17 year old ibanez...

thanx man, yap i did, but i needed some help with balancing the neck and the strings.. but the nice ppl at davis settled tt prob for me hahaha'...=)

hey guys thanx alot for the compliments...

Sure thing, well the first layer was black than i tape up the surfaces that i wanted to keep black->2 cans of paint

and than the white coat went over it... after pealing out the tape -> 2 cans of paint

There after i taped up the guitar up again and painted on the red. For the red i used 4 cans of paint as the black and white coats were still visible beneath. [ but i was told that on the original EVH guitar the black and white coats were also visible, but i wasn't really into that hahaha]
And finally i used 7 coats of clear to protect the paint [ i had to used 7 cans to even the paint job as the red coat was pretty thick].

the skull was just free-handed with paint marker and covered with 3 coats of clear hahaha...

i used making tape dude... but i did en-counter one small problem because one of the wider tapes that i used, was pretty old and after i pealed it of it left a lot of that sticky stuff attached to the guitar surface.... it kinda got me panicking for awhile but lucky for me it came off pretty easily with lots of lighter fluid hahaha'...or else i thought i would have had to send the whole thing down again...
