man..this is one damn difficult to play song...fingers not long enough...anyone got tabs for this song which are finger-friendly?

and how does Andy Summers get that great palm-mute sound? got chorus pedal?

he uses a clean tone runs thru a chorus pedal and uses light palm muting..the stretch isn't very wide really, just practise a little

Whoa, this riff I`ve been playing for a long time about 7 years to be exact! Yeah, u really have to stretch those fingers. Takes time, just practice and practice.

Andy mainly uses his specially modded Tele for all the cool sounds on the Police albums. Uses a lot of FX like chorus and delay, like for that song u trying to play. My fav riff is "Don`t Stand So Close to Me"...
