Evans Heads Help :(

hey does anyone noe where to get evans head ? i noe ranking does sell. but i looking for EC2 for batter and EC for reso. and do ranking sell them ?

Evans drumheads can be sold at most drum equipment stores. In this case, yes, Ranking does sell those drumheads (last time I checked at least). Bear in mind that EC2 Coated drumheads (I was told) are sort of rare here, and they didn't sell them on my last visit to Ranking.

and one more question... Evans Drumheads Cheaper Or Remo ? cuz i went to sweelee i found out the Remo Whetherking Pinstripe it cost 30+ each ??????? i was like WTF... and i went to ranking and saw some evans head and they cost about 20+ to 30 like dat.. anyone can explain ? or did i see wrong ??

Sorry for delayed response, was away from the computer from a while. (school work) >.<

Yeah I bought my EC2 Clear Batter heads from Ranking ... I am using them right now as we speak.

BTW, not all brands/types of heads cost the same. Maybe Remo Weatherking Pinstripe is more expensive, maybe some Evan drumheads are more expensive.

You can get EC2 coated heads from Drums Resources. I think the EC2 clear heads are OOS at Ranking. At least it was the last time I went down, which was, say, last week?

Ignore the prices, look at what skin combination would give you the sound you want. Absolutely no point going for more economical heads and not liking the sound.

thanks jeepers. hmm which drum head sound more dry ? ( EC2 Clear Or Pinstripe Or Coated Emperor ? Or Clear Emperor ? Or Powerstroke 3 ?
