Etc wears their heart on their sleeve and keeps the music freshly off-the-cuff as BEN HARRISON (guitars & vocals etc) and HARVEY CHAMBERLAIN (drums & drums etc) deliver the bittersweet psychopop that's earned them enthusiasts across the world.
The legendary British DJ JOHN PEEL once credited Ben's guitar-playing as 'spankingly good' & 'noisy... but not too noisy', before Etc went on to gain a place on the BBC's GLOBAL TOP 10 with 'Adolesce' - a song that American journalist Paul Zack described as 'a masterpiece'.
Singapore's STRAITS TIMES touts Etc as 'the most literate band playing in the region', while the band garner praise from around the world, including positive words from members of American Music Club, Blur, Flaming Lips, Fugazi, Galaxie 500, Nirvana, Shonen Knife, Sonic Youth and Yo La Tengo. They were also heartily toasted by Singapore's Miss Universe 2006 contender.
Etc prefer it when you pronounce their name 'et cetera'. They like it when you dance. And they love it when you sing along.
You can hear and see Etc at their myspace here: http://myspace.com/abcdetc
