ESP guitars and Edwards

Hi guys. I was cruising along the shops at the Peninsula area and this Edwards LP type guitar really caught my attention, blue hawaiian imprints on the body itself. And when i tried it out, it sounded great, with 59' loaded on its neck and a JB on the bridge.

I know that Edwards is under ESP, and also know that it is a different case from its cousin, LTD, which of course, lacks some tidy workmanship due to the fact that it is made in indonesia.

Any idea where Edward's made in, they are pretty pricey too, around 1.6k or something like tt.

Going by ranking:

ESP custom shop
ESP standard
Edwards

The rest will be followed after by LTD, Grassroots. Depending on the LTD series number, the QC varies. The high-end LTD's will be made in Korea, being labelled the -1000 series. Example will be the LP-type EC-1000.

As far as I know, Edwards are very good quality guitars being just a step below the ESP standard series. Edwards guitars are MIJ, so far haven't come across MIK or others.

you can check where it's made behind the headstock lar. LTD higher ends(signature models and the other more ex ones) are MIK, edwards are MIJ, at least the ones you can see around here.

The Navigators are high end japanese custom shop they are hardly below ESP standard. They make exact replicas of vinatge Les Pauls strats and other stuff, check out the prices, they are the same or even more then what you would pay for a Gibson Les Paul standard going up into the Custom Historic prices.

the series-50 models are made in indo, LTDs higher up in the hierarchy are Korean.
