hey guys how come i cannot find details on the ESP eclipse I models?not the eclipse II

IIRC eclipse I is the four knob version right? its meant for Japan Domestic Market only cause if they export to other countries, they can get sued by you-know-who IF this you-know-who finds out.

you can find details of eclipse I on davisguitar.com if im not wrong.

cos i saw it on sale at davis at 1.6k,and im intetrested to get it but cldnt find any details bout it,can anyone tell me the differences btween the eclipse ! and II?

the Eclipse Models are superb guitar for the money, just don't look up to them for LP tones.

the Eclipse I isn't dicont'd, it's for the domestic Jap market, but Davis brings them in periodically- no legal issues here compared to the US market.

well...i have a eclipse I... i dunno if its discontinued cos under the ESP discontinued list, it doesnt have the Eclipse I on the list... and yeah jus like sub say dun expect a LP tone from an eclipse..its a different guitar by itself...

it seems the body is thinner is the tone thinner too?and how does it sound wit P90s itachi?

the Eclipse, regardless of the models, is not one associated with thin tones, regardless of the pickups on board.

i would say that the Eclipse is wonderful humbucking player. with passive pickups & volume turned down, you can achieve a very pleasant crunch as well.
