What are the essentials to buy?

hey ho and welcome to the world of guitar.

essentials, personally i would recommend afew things, regardless of acoustic or electric they're roughly the same.

1. guitar polishing cloth (the dunlop one works good)
2. dunlop 65 string cleaner (optional, wiping down the strings after use is good enough)
3. liquid string coating (also optional, but good to keep that smoothness and all with loads of playing)
4. extra strings
5. string winder with cutter (i use the planetwaves one, but having wire cutters in addition to a winder is cool too. i just use it for convenience sake)
6. loads of picks for every occasion

thats actually about it, in addition, you can keep your guitar in the case all the time when not in use to save it from the ever so dreaded humidity.
