Hi all,
A repost. I have on hand a unit of the recently released Jim Dunlop Eric Johnson Fuzz face for sale.
There is nothing much to say about it except that its really super MINT with the box and instructions intact.
Eric Johnson does really play with one standard unit live and in the studio as opposed to numerous artists who put their names on guitars and effects only to end up play other guitars and effects.
Can you get an instant Eric Johnson tone?? Well yes and no. A mate of mine used it on a strat plugged direct into a JCM series Marshall attenuated of course with effects looped digital delay and reverb. The tone was super close if not spot on against Cliffs of Dover. However i soon found out that i could NOT replicate the exact tone with the same gear....
Needless to say, i was disappointed that my technique and touch were found wanting.
I have now decided to sell it as its a current Jim Dunlop product and i can always buy another once i am good enough to use it to its full potential. I don't see that happening any time soon unfortunately.
I am letting it go at $230 which is a lot cheaper than even Ebay with the shipping cost included.
Negotiable to an extent but no lowballers please.
