Eric Clapton is coming to Singapore!

Again? Urgh. He is really great and everything but for me, I don't find it worth watching these old classic rock folk in Singapore. I've seen Eric Clapton and Deep Purple in Singapore, and they are just boring. (Even though I am a fan of both) Firstly, indoor stadium + crappy sound engineer = terrible mess (multiplied) by the ticket price for a show where the "Celebrity" artist just do the show and leave with out any consideration for their audience. I just think they don't care about how their show went in Singapore, but if you watch these guys overseas, their shows kick-ass at much higher levels.

Maybe their just too old for a "proper" show. When I mean "proper" I mean where the concert is also about stage presence and showmanship and stage antics. But thats just my opinion. Personally I wouldn't go watch Eric. The only shows guys I would watch if they came to Singapore are Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2 and Galactic. These guys really know how to please the audience.

I havent been to the mika concert lately.
But based on the concert shown on tv. I feel that he and coldplay are artists to look out for live too. Also jamie cullum.
But he is old already and i do not want to miss the chance to at least catch him live. ):
