how about changing to emg 81 set? emg says its good for lead, the sound is not bad, or maybe i should just focus on getting better pedals first.. any recommendations for pedals? is the zakk wylde overdrive pedal by mxr good?

err.. if so, why dun u get the ESP Eclipse.. $1200 + $270 pickups + $20 installations = $1500. You be better off with an Eclipse in that case.

Edwards do have EMG offerings if I am not wrong, but not for the SG model.

btw, the samicks are good too, not the greg bennett ones, but the earlier artist series.

also EMG81 does not sound good as good as EMG85 in a SG.

and as stated, the pickups in the iommi SG are iommi signatures, one of the hottest pickups gibson has.
