Epiphone Les Paul Vs. LTD Eclipse

Hi Eclipse and Les Paul players out there, as we know the Les Paul and Eclipse looks entirely similar. So my question is, are there any difference between the weight and the thickness of the neck of the Epiphone Les Paul and LTD Eclipse?

I believe the LTDs are lighter and have slimmer necks than the epiphone. I believe the feel and qc is better too! At least I think for the Japanese made ones.

Only the shapes are similar. Eclipse is not a Les paul. It's just a shape of a Les paul. Les pauls have a curvy body and thick but not eclipse, therefore, the sound or tone would be different. That's what I think so far....Eclipse doesn't have a Les paul sound....

I've tried both through the same amp, and I can say the epiphone sounds much better and warmer, perfects for classic rock. The ltd eclipse (EC500) sounds thin and sharper. And as one of the posters said before the Eclipse neck profile is thiner.

I dont know about you, but my eclipse in no way sounds thin
