hi a newbie here, abt to get my 1st electric guitar. Kinda loast. Was thinking of getting a Epiphone Les Paul Studio Chameleon. any suggestion or feedback on it? thank u all.

wow. You're gonna get that for your first electric guitar? That's nice, but i would suggest getting something less expensive, lest you might not like how the tone of that guitar turns out, at least you'd still have some cash in your pocket to purchase a new one or something. Maybe get an epiphone standard? Well then again, it depends on what kinda sound you're after. You might wanna look into strats as well

Adding to Godwin's point... will help a bit on the part regarding whether a strat or LP suits you better:
- If you want thinner, clearer and cleaner tone with brightness, strats are the way to go.
- If you want fatter, warmer and more powerful tone, LPs are the way to go.

if you like the guitar after trying it & hearing it in action, the price tag is secondary- i'd say, go with something you fancy.

if you fancy singlecut designs, the Rally GL models are recommended (great QC + tone for the money):
