Hai guys ,

I have been playing acoustic for the past 5 years, off and on as a hobby ......

Now ... want a transition to the electric guitar world ..... I just simply love the Les Paul model and I stumble upon the Epiphone Les Paul LP 100 which is within my budget < 500 bucks.

Guys, any of you have tried this piece , please do give me a piece of your thoughts on this guitar ... Thanks... oh yes! not forgetting which are the shops which you guys recommend that has this range ..........

Thank a Million ............:)

Hey mike,

Epiphone makes a good beginner guitar for sure. The Epiphone Les Paul LP 100 is great, but a pickup upgrade will do wonders. But i do strongly recommend you to get a Epiphone LP Custom. If you dont mind a used axe, u can get a Custom for ard 500. The custom model in many ways is a better investment. =)

you should check out alternative brands like Rally which are more worth it when you look at the price vs specs equation. in any case, check out SV guitars. They have both Rally and Epiphone.

many people are drawn to this guitar by virtue of its 'Les Paul' tag but it's a bolt-on model, removed from the real LP essence. for the money, you can consider other bolt-on models which could be a more worthy consideration.
