Entry level keyboard.

Hi, me and a friend are thinking of sharing $ to get a new keyboard for casual playing, vocal accompaniment and probably simple performances. Together we have roughly a $300-400 budget...

The past hour or so, I've been doing quite some reading on the forums, and am wondering if there's a keyboard that falls within our budget but still has good/real-sounding staple sounds (mainly piano and other mainstream instruments).

Thanks =)

Definitely, I've read on some ways to check out a 2nd hand keyboard before making the purchase, a little too technical though haha..

Hi... I'm selling off my CASIO keyboard... (WK-3700).... If you are interested in buying it please let me know... Email me or call me at 96103365 (Daniel).

The keyboard has 76 keys, with a floppy drive, Smartmedia card reader and nice & rich tones, rhythms & programmeble tones & banks..

Thanks....

Personally im a beginner trying to learn piano playing. I got this yamaha
E-403 and i think it should fit you. Its the latest model and yet has some additional functions which i think is worth the money. cost 400-500 depend on ur stand n sustain pedal.

I have a Roland W30,this is the most solid key contruction pro keyboard compare to others toy..even better the M Audio controller.It have basic 16 solid sound if you don't need those extra rythm this is good for you.$300 only.The screen was blur but not affect performance,I used it as controller and most used the string and piano sound.cckeong@tm.net.my

Entry Level keys? Try the Yamaha PSR series, IMO. Its not THE best, but you'll probably find one first hand that suits your budget. Most have a few customisation options and in-built speakers, so you might want to consider this series.

Of course, it depends on what sort of tone, sound, and style you're looking at that bothers
