Enquiry about maestro guitars

If I'm not wrong, the SA-1 is currently going for $200. Not sure about the rest. I got an SA-1 CE (with cutaway and pickups) for around $330 or so last year November (can't remember exactly how much).

P.S. The SA-1 CE, despite being a rather budget guitar, sounds really great! Especially with Elixir strings! :D

Nope. I've only tried the SA-1 CE, and SD-1. Bought the SA-1 because I prefer Grand Auditoriums, and I'm currently playing more fingerstyle stuff. It's still great for strumming chords though! I'd say sound-wise, the SA-1 could very well pass off as a low-end Taylor/Martin. It sounds better than my Ovation that was twice the price!

now im convinced to get the sa-1. :D is there any difference between the normal sa-1 and the sa1-ce?
yeah ovation is way out of my budget.

The SA-1 CE has a cut-away and can be plugged in. The SA-1 is without those options. Saw a black one at the Peninsula branch a couple of weeks ago, but I personally prefer natural! My advice would be to go down and try it out yourself. After all, different people have different tastes, look for different characteristics of a guitar, and most importantly, different players contribute the most to the difference in tone of the guitars. So don't take my word for it! Go try it out if you want, and see if it suits you :)
