Basically what I've done is expand the interest group of Elixir users (see my previous thread in regards to interest in Elixir Electric 7 sets). Just thought I would like to find out how much interest is there in the products mentioned in the poll.

I am kind of tired of the lack of availability of such choices of strings, being someone who swears by these strings, and I would love to do the same for other players yearning for this.

Feel free to feedback too.

They are expensive and normal students might jus get the normal priced ones. At max $10 bucks for a set. Thts jus me of course. And i haven really tested the strings if they were really 5 times as lasting as normal. ( as writen on the packaging if i'm not wrong.
Broke.. *sniff*

In my experience, since I have never broken a string before while playing, it's safe for me to be constantly using these strings.....

Yes, they do minimally last me at least 3x as long as regular strings, so im actually saving quite an amount of money, especially since i own 3 guitar at this point of time.... Not to mention they sound really pleasing to my ears compared to others that I have used before...

I havent broke a string when playing. only the first string when tuning last time.
I feel tht having a few guitars only makes me choose on which to use more often as a main axe.
And then the not so fun and not so frequently used one will be chugged aside.
So it will rust.
I think i'm also not eager to get my hands on a pack of elixirs because I am still experimenting on which strings to get, which gauge suits me or the guitar etc.. etc..
And having expensive strings on a cheap guitar seems like abit weird ? Hahahas.

Hmm currently jus a epiphone sg and ltd ex 50. i traded my squier strat wif upgraded pups for this ltd. I'm currently selling them to ge a lp/strat/tele. Still finding the guitar i'm looking for. Not really sure of my taste. all of them just seems so tempting...

Could try meeting up with friends or softies, try their guitars out, or do some window shopping. =)

If you ask me what I think, it's fairenough to try out 1 set of elixir strings on either of them... brendon sells elixirs cheap. =)

ICIC i think i will try it on my SG as the ex50 doesnt hold tuning well at all.
I'm afraid tht after long time of re-tuning it will snap or smt.
