hey guys i was hoping you would suggest a good electronic drumkit for studio use to trigger midi..
my budget is SD $600...

or Yamaha DD65 for $400/$500 (SV Guitars/Yamaha Official Shop)
A bit more expensive than your budget, but most sets are wayy off the budget. And trust me, you don't wanna get the Awowo Rock Drums Pro. Double triggering blows. DD65, however, is a one-piece drumset, so unless you, or rather the drummers that come into the studio, are willing to put up with this (in which case I don't think they would), then get this set.
