We are a successful part-time 5-piece band playing predominantly Irish folk-rock, looking for a replacement for our electric guitarist who is shortly leaving Singapore.
Will need to play a mix of rhythm and lead, use basic effects pedals, and would preferably be able to sing backing vocals (option to take lead on a couple of numbers too, if willing).
Paid gigs once every 6 weeks only during most of the year, with a larger amount of paid gigs mid-March for St Patrick's Day celebrations. Next scheduled gig is September 30th, so lots of rehearsing to do over August and September! Once new member is established in the band, we will do fewer rehearsals on a regular basis to introduce new material and keep sharp.
Because of Ministry of Manpower tightening their restrictions on musicians working in Singapore we would prefer a Singaporean or PR. Anyone on an EP or DP may need to seek special permission from MoM, but those on Social Visit Passes will not be considered - sorry!
