My teaching style is geared on catering to the student's interests and will be adjusted according to each individual. I specialize in improvisation and playing by ear and am looking for all kinds of students, whether you are a beginner or want to improve your skills in certain areas. I believe good musical skills are built and maintained by passion and my lessons will also be geared to help in that area such as helping students learn songs that they like and introduce them to new styles as well.
I've been learning and playing music for 15 years and have been learning many instruments over the years, with the 4 in the thread title being the primary few. The styles of music i play are mainly jazz, rock, pop and funk. I have had experience playing with bands as well. I have an ABRSM Grade 7 in Classical Piano and a Grade 5 in Music Theory.
I live in the Mountbatten area and lessons can be conducted at my house which has a good availability of instruments and i can go to your place depending on the area and time. Charges can be discussed.
