I've been playing guitar for more than 6 years, teaching for more than 2 years. I teach both electric and acoustic guitar at Tanah Merah. However in August I will be able to teach guitar in the West on weekdays and in the East on weekends. I charge at $30/hr.
I teach my students based on a systematic syllabus constructed to fit the student's weak points and areas they need to improve. Overall they will learn :
Guitar techniques that will allow you to play clean and fast.
Advanced guitar techniques : String skipping/Tapping/String skipping WITH tapping.
Music theory : Scales, Chord theory, Modes.
*Music theory will be taught such that you will be able to apply it in your guitar playing. Overall I focus on things that are useful and things that you can actually apply in your playing.
