Maybe I can contribute a little bit here. I donno much about the EHX, but I do own a dc-3. The dc-3 is an effect that produces clear, spacious replicating guitars sound that makes your one guitar voice sounds like 3/4 guitars harmonising, in the same pitch. It is different from conventional chorusing effects that produce a wavering/detuning sound. With this, I would say the dc-3 is less "lush" sounding. I used to own a boss ce-5, but sold off bcos I want the dc-3 type of chorusing. So, the dc-3 is for me.
