EHX Cathedral on Bass?

Hi,
im a bass player and new to effects.
i would really quite like to experiment with sound, however, I was looking around and it seems that i don't really have many options. (maybe im not looking in the right places but most of pedals i found makes my bass sound like a little martian)
However, i was looking up some threads posted here earlier on saying that some simple guitar effects can be used on bass with no problem (delay/reverb).

Would like to know if any bass players have used the EHX cathedral on bass? Any feedback, comments and suggestions would be very helpful. I currently have a Hartke Bass Attack.

Thank You in Advance

actually, what tone are you looking for? generally speaking, reverb and delay pedals can be used on bass. other pedals may be tone sucking due to filters/eq not matching what bass guitar requires.

like my simple setup of 6 pedals, each pedal contributes something to the tone and i may need to turn on in combination to get what i want.

hmm.. i would like to have a more post rock / ambient kind of sound. I think the bass attack takes care of my "tone" for me quite well.
I was thinking for a more ambient sound, it would be good to start off with some reverb, Thus the cathedral.
However, its not the simplest of pedals, for example, the carbon copy. It has different kinds of reverbs to choose from as well as a few other functions. I was wondering if it would somehow affect the tone, or the low end, or playability, because its a more "complex" reverb pedal.
On top of that, it is a stereo reverb if im not wrong. i havent managed to find much information on that.

Any comments or suggestions would be absolutely helpful. Being rather new to this, im looking for maybe.. some sort of a lead.. ? to further research on this stuff.

Thanks Alanchia, and everyone else in advance.

Thanks!
Just checked it out, and once in a while is definitely the word. lol .. But its a very interesting site.
Will post again should i get information.
