hi everyone, i've been drumming for a few months now, but the thing is I only meet up with the rest of the band about once every 1-2 weeks. so other than that, i can't really play around with drums much.

so i'm thinking of getting a Yamaha DD-65 or something, cos my room just doesnt have space for a full electronic drumkit. and basically sometimes i jus wanna experiment with new sounds and rhythm, so i don't think i need a full-sized set.

anyone used the DD-65 before, or has any other types i can consider? I've also heard about casio and awowo, but not sure whether they're any good.

pls give me some advice! thanks!

Erm so far, the Yamaha DD65 is the only one-piece drumset i've seen that has the hi-hat trigger placed at the top left position of the kit; all the others have it at the center. As for other sets, there's the Medeli DD502 at $690, this time it's the whole kit.

Well, if you're willing to put up with much smaller set, then go with the DD65, otherwise, spend a bit more to get the Medeli.

Cheers,
gibs.

the Medeli DD502 cymbals can change to other round cymbals rite?
im looking forward to get this entry level as i want to get started on drums so cant really afford 2nd hand roland td3k that i saw in buy&sell section
