Eclipse vs LP standard

anyone out there owns either these 2 guitars? would like to know how they differ since both have the standard LP shape..
Would like to know if the neck radius of an eclipse is similar to a gibson lespaul standard (1950s).

the ESP one is more for metal and the pups used are EMGs if i'm not wrong. but the gibson one is more for rock and stuff, metal too i suppose

the eclipse and les paul are 2 completely different animals
the body shape may be similar but the similarities stop right about there

if you havent notice the eclipses at davis, the body is thinner, with a belly contour and a thinner neck. Because of those features, it wont sound like a gibson les paul at all.

If you're after the classic les paul tone, i'd suggest you stay clear from eclipses

if you intend to acquire the ESP EC in the hope of replicating a Les Paul tone- don't. a Tokai/ Burny will do a better job at that.
