Ebay a safe place?

Hi guys, i was wondering if ebay was a safe place to buy audio equipments. Since audio eqquipments need to be in good working conditions, it is safe buying from ebay? anyone tried?

Well usually, and I only do thi, meet up with the seller. You can then test the stuff yourself. I would not buy something without having a look at it first if it was coming from an unknown second hand dealer.

i have gotten a rocktron midi mate, m audio delta 44 , and pickups from ebay.

so long as they come from a reputable seller, i think the risks pretty low
