Anyone else liking them aside from me? I did try the Hoof fuzz and I must say that the compressed youtube clips don't do it justice. It's a very versatile fuzz for those who are looking for that Muff tone. I'm not really a fuzz guy but i'm really surprised how you can dial it to be creamy or very punchy. But throughout it's gain range it remains huge sounding just as some have stated in the reviews.
I would have bought the fuzz but... I need a phaser now more than another drive pedal. Which led me to the Grand Orbiter. It's sound is closer to a small stone than a phase 90 to my ears which for me is very nice coz i can still hear my fundamental tone cut thru. It doesn't change the feel of the tone when it is engaged unless you turn the rate to full, of course. For it's price I like the fact that you have the option to keep your dry signal or turn it off for a cool vibrato effect. And it's got a wide range of speed and it can get really deep or subtle. I also use it as a vibe so I place it in front of my drive pedals.
