I'm currently opening up limited slots in the Northern and North Eastern parts of Singapore for Saturday Afternoon private drumset lessons, between 4pm and 8pm only, in your home (you should have your own drumkit. Acoustic and Electronic kits are both fine).
I'm an effective drumset instructor with 15 years playing experience and 5 years teaching experience. I have a strong passion for guiding people interested in delving into the drumming craft. Whether you've been on the kit for 5 years or completely new to this thing, I can help you get to where you want in your drumming.
I specialize in Rock, R&B, Funk, and Jazz.
I do not specialize in Heavy Metal or Latin, though I can competently show the rudiments to these two musical styles on the drums, should you be interested
Quality instructional material is used during the lessons and for student's practice to focus on two things:
1) Good overall drumset technique
2) Understanding the role of the drumset in MUSIC. This way, you will also learn skills that help you effectively co-ordinate with other musicians to make music.
A customized lesson plan for experienced students is also offered.
Age Preference for students: 13 yrs old and above
Lesson duration: 60 minutes
