i got the same problem here. money.. lol i saw at drum resources its like $400+ another 0. haha $4000. Any lobang for cheap mics?

can't really get "Good" drum mic set for under "$400" unless it's 2nd hand / bad condition / the seller is your friend since you were 10 years old..

your best shot is around $500+ (I think) for the samson drum mike kit.

For cheap mics, you can check out ebay for the Audix and Samson 7pc sets.

I've read reviews that the samson pencil condensers are pretty bang for the buck, but the downside is that the bodies of the mics are made of plastic.

Samson 5pc @ $149+$60.90 = approx SGD$294 (assuming exchange rate of 1.4)

I don't have any personal experience with them, I'm just regurgitating what I've read from others.

samson would still be your option as you save money on "micstands and mic clips".

cos it comes with mic mounts.

samson drum mics has inbuilt mic clip ($3 each) and mic mount (usually cost $50 for the mic drum clamp or $30 for a mic stand.)
