I have actually been on this forum since last year, but decided to do a self intro since i haven't done so yet.
I'm Jonathan, 18 years old this year, studying at ngee ann poly. I have been playing drums since i think december 2005? But i didnt get serious with drums until last year, before that i was dreading going for lessons and practicing my instrument. My musical influences, well, i have many, for example, Thomas Pridgen(previously from mars volta), Vinnie Colaiuta(sessionist), Steve Gadd(Sessionist), Steve Jordan(Sessionist), Taylor hawkins(foo fighters), Dave Grohl(Nirvana/Them crooked vultures), Chad smith(Red hot chili peppers), Jose Pasillas(Incubus). My style of playing, would be grunge together with alternate rock and funk rock, as my main influences are Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Chad Smith.
