i went there about 3 months ago. so far the best are the tom lee chains. the prices are comparable to swee lee (overpriced as usual). but the good thing is that they've got a big big variety of stuff you cant find here in singapore. drumometer and stuff. but i suggest buying from music123.com and shipping over. that's what i do. cheap prices and good quality stuff.
I went to Tom Lee Music last year, and find that their service level is very good. Generally, Hong Kong has a much higher service level than Singapore.
I had managed to get a Zildjian 20" K Constantinople for S$500 which would have costed me S$650 in Singapore.
They have a lot of stuff for you to drool over Much better inventory stock up than Swee Lee and Yamaha put together.
