Drum module, E triggers.

Hey guys, does anyone know stuff about e triggers, drum module or anything. I saw this ad at ebay which sells e triggers and i dont know what the hell it means. The pictures show that the acoustic drums are drilled with the triggers and such.. and i dont even know what jacks and alesis stuff all about.. pardon me for my ignorance... anyone care to help??
