Drum magazines

Do guys know of any bookstores which sells drum magazines, or even better, helps u subscribes to these magazines in sg?

I think you're supposed to subscribe to the magazines yourself.

But Borders has Rhythm and Modern Drummer.

HMV sells cheaper Modern Drummer than Borders....its available at first story...(HMV i mean)

Rhythm is a better mag to get if ur interested in getting better.

at the same time it talks abt latest gear and artistes as well..

They have better teaching aids compared to other mags.

I dont think the outlets here will allow u to subscribe..

U'd have subscribe directly by filling in the slip given in the mags..

i'd agree in that i like Rhythm better. modern drummer has good stuff, but i find rhythm is constantly pushing themselves. in the past year, they changed the mag format a few times (of course, towards a more sensible format), and they are trying to push themselves. like now they have VIDEO on their CDs!
modern drummer is cheaper though, and if you are the kind who really doesn't mind reading, there's a lot of good stuff in there too!

i actually did suscribe from UK - it's about the same price, but your mags won't come in mint condition due to shipping. you can find it at those places mentioned though - times, kino etc... or if you have a magazine shop near your house you can ask the uncle to book for you - i live in serangoon gardens and the uncle at the shop will do that if his distributor has the magazine =)
