Midi PatternS~
How about midi patterns for Drums? Programms like Digidesign "Strike" make use of patterns recorded by real drummers in Verse, Bridge, chorus form.
From what I read is, you can manupilate how the virtual drummer plays, as how you would want a real drummer to play, as in variations, genre, more or less ghost notes how hard to play and when. This makes producing a song a very happy moment when it comes to the drums. and because it's midi patterns, you can change the kit set up, like different toms, kick, snares, even the type of mic techinique.
So now i'm looking for these midi patterns, so i can map them to my Reason 'Redrum'. Reason has 'ok' samples from their kit banks. Recording Drums on Reason with my midi keys has no soul.
There are tons of samples out there, the FOR SALE ones are really good, and recorded in nice stereo. But i need a little more flexi then that.
That all said, I'm just plain lazy to search for what i'm looking for, so guys .... have you come across anything like this?
