Quality Drumset Lessons For Beginners
Hi all,
I'm Jason Cruz an experienced and dedicated professional drummer and drumset instructor.
I am now offering drumset lessons at a new studio location situated at Lew Building, 2nd Floor, 45 North Canal Road (facing Hong Lim Park AKA Speakers' Corner and Clarke Quay MRT station Exit A).
These are what students will get to learn and have access to:
1) Fundamental Technique for Hands and Feet - for the hands, we call it Rudimental Snare Drum technique, and for the feet we call it Bass Drum and Hi-Hat technique. For intermediate to advanced students, instruction in basic Double Bass Drum Technique is offered.
2) Fun and challenging exercises for building smooth co-ordination of your 4 limbs
3) Exposure to playing different styles of music beginning with Pop/Rock - using professional music charts, minus-drum play-alongs, electronic music loops, actual drumset exam pieces, and actual songs (students also get to choose the songs they want to learn or ask about specific drumming things in songs)
4) Learn how to read Drumset rhythms the easy way
5) Get to jam/perform with either students learning other instruments with other teachers or with the teachers themselves at least once a month
6) Drumset workshops for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced students.
7) Yearly Student Showcases (individual or group performances)
I'll be teaching at the new location 6 days a week except Thursdays. The available time slots as of now are as follows and will be updated regularly:
Monday: 6pm and 8pm
Tuesday: 3pm and 4pm
Wednesday: From 3pm to 9pm
Friday: 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 8.30pm
Saturday: 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm
Sunday: 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm
